If you live in unincorporated Harris County you must license your pet with us. If you live inside city limits, you must license with that agency. If you are not sure which agency you should license with, you can enter your address on the following page and our system will check for you.

 

You will need the following information to license your pet:

• Owner name, address, driver’s license number, date of birth

• Pet name, age, breed, color, weight

• Rabies vaccination date (s)*

• Veterinary clinic name, address, and phone number where vaccination was given*

*License will not be issued without complete rabies vaccination information.

After your application and payment are received you will receive your license tag and receipt by US Mail in approximately 7 business days.
